The case is listed for 04 Jan 2010 in court no 8, in the court of Justice Markandey Katju and Justice RM Lodha, Supreme court of India.

IV Pay Commission Rank Pay Anomaly Case
AS ON 26 OCT 2009
It is intimated that the case was 'mentioned' in the court of Chief Justice of India on 22 Oct 2009.The court passed order that the case be listed in Jan 2010 for final arguments.It is hoped that the case would get listed in Jan 2010.
2. We are also in the process for engaging the services of a very senior lawyer to fight the case for us.
3. Kindly inform others in your sphere of influence.
4.Updates would be put on site.

Update as on 10 Sept 09
The case is in Q for listing for arguments.We are trying to expedite the case. As and when the case gets listed info will be put on site. Till that time NTR.
2. Govt has issued orders for release of 60% bal of arrears to be paid by 30 Sept 09.Instrs have been issued by PCDA pensions Allahabad to all PDA's to comply.Orders can be viewed on MOD site.
3. No news on OROP. Struggle is on.

Latest Update
We are in Q for the IV Pay Commision case in the apex court. Information as and when recd will be posted on the blog.
Most of the banks have paid the arrears of 40% to Lt Col's on moving to PB4.
