BROAD BANDING OF DISABILITY
PENSION
RDOA had written to
Hon’ble Raksha Manti ji on 20th Oct 2015 and reminders were sent on
18th Jan & 19th
Feb 2016 that:-
“benefit of broad
banding be extended to all those
effected Ex-Servicemen who were not before the court. Veterans are being forced
to approach the Armed Forces Tribunals. Tribunals are extending the benefit to
all including those proceeded on Premature retirement (PMR). It is requested
that the benefit of broad banding of disability pension be extended to all
eligible cases. It shall be travesty of justice if similar benefits are denied
to these individuals”.
